Heck we have enough here in Bedford county to start a grotto. ;D We sure do but the NSS would have to approve such a request first. I suspect interest in reforming the Cumberland Grotto would be preferable to a new one but I am just guessing on that.

It looks like y'all had a good muddy trip. Typical mud for caves in the area. Now you need to try to teach them how to cave softly enough to minimize the mud even though in some cases it is impossible. I have caved with some cavers that hardly ever got any mud on them while I came out covered. I'm glad you are teaching them the correct techniques for caving, safety practices, and proper equipment. With a few more trips they will obviously come into their own. Make sure you give them NSS info and grotto info as well. As small as both of them appear to be (compared to you) they may be able to push a few small spaces you are looking at here and there! Watch out Bull - J and B may get so good you can't keep up!

Glad you had a good cave trip! It was good to see you both better equipped this time. Way to go girls! I have a feeling you girls are on you way to joining T.W.A.T. one day. ;D Pardon the pun -- but I think they will soon be leaving you in the dust Bull.

we did have fun, and they will be leaving me behind , they wanted to venture this weekend, in to one of the leads, but I wouldn't let them , until they get vertical and some one else close to there size can be there, I didn't think it was a good idea, they wanted it bad though, they loved every minute of the trip even the crawls and climb up / downs, watched and learned then took of like pro's, Lynn you might want to explain, T.W.A.T. and NSS info with all the other cave pamphlets and bat books etc have been given, we are hopefully headed out to start some vertical training soon, and if I'm not mistaken they are also eager to learn survey, maybe they can be part of the S.C.S.T.( small caver survey team) I'm trying to build for sections of the cave the rest of us cant get to, after doing some investigative rock throwing( I.R.T.) this weekend, they are eager to follow the echo, there is something new and interesting about it this weekend, you may want to phone me about, and if they can get in they have chosen a name for the pool of water we hear dripping, in there, Sherri named the tight spot orgasm squeeze, so in suit follows J & B's wet spot,
