Participants: Robert, Jacob, Lee, Eric, & Jeff
We wanted to join Jeff in doing a short cleanup trip to Pettijohn's. We mostly stayed in the entrance room picking up trash where we saw it. Jeff made a tool to reach down into the cracks that came in pretty handy. Of course we sent the boys, Lee & Jacob, where us old, fat guys couldn't go to pull out the debris of caving trips long past. We stayed in cave for almost four hours picking up trash, talking about conservation with other groups that we passed, letting the boys enjoy climbing about. We had a great time and made new friends. See Ya'll at TAG!!

Good job on the clean up....Cavers do Rock! Not really the same thing, but I think a lot of little spur of the moment clean-ups take place during cave trips. I know I've picked up things (usually bottles, cans, or old batteries) as I was going thru caves before. But, I once gathered up over a dollar in coins while going thru a crawl in Graves cave. ;D Someone had periodically lost the change from their pocket as they were going thru the crawl as coins were spaced from one end to the other. ;D See ya at TAG!

We found some change too. It was the first time Lee and I got paid to cave!! I have some pictures of the gang and the booty but I'm not sure how to post them here like I did on the NSS DB.

Does anyone know if there is a cave clean up planned to take place during the TAG Fall Cave-In this year?

If memory serves me correctly......TAG CU is being skipped this year due to low attendance.

Low attendance at TAG or low attendance at the clean ups?

That's what I thought you meant, but thought I better double check. ;D Lots of folks go caving during TAG...that's understandable.
Thanks!

Okay, I'm going to give posting a picture a try. If this comes through, left to right are Robert, Jacob, Eric, Lee, and Jeff.
