Three Lost River tours slatedMarch 21, 2006 The Lost River Conservation Association (LRAC) will be conducting three auto/hike field trips on March 25 and then on June 3 and Sept. 23. These free scenic tours will depart at 8 a.m. from the southeast corner of the town square in Orleans (junction of Ind. 37 and Ind. 337). Orientation begins at 7:40 a.m. Lunch is from noon until approximately 1 p.m. in Orleans. The tour ends about 4:30 p.m. at Orangeville. Hiking is moderate, please dress accordingly. This is a geological, cultural and historical tour of the “Classic Portion” of Indiana's Lost River Karst System.
