We have discovered that the approximately 800 Limited Members of the NSS were inadvertently omitted from the address list used to mail out the American Caving Accidents issue in September. Limited Members do not receive the monthly NSS News or the Journal of Cave and Karst Studies, but they do receive the Members Manual and the ACA. The omission was accidental, and the database has been modified to prevent a recurrence. Arrangements have been made to mail a copy of the September 2005 ACA issue to all Limited Members who were current as of 15 September 2005, the date of publication. The mailing will take place on Monday, November 14. Members should receive their copies soon after. All other members (except Family members, who do not receive any publications) should have received their copies of ACA by now. If you were a current member on 15 September 2005 and have not received a copy, you can call or email the NSS Office (256-852-1300, office@caves.org) to obtain one. I apologize for the inconvenience. Bill Putnam, NSS21117LF Editor, American Caving Accidents aca@caves.org (Permission given to circulate)
