Just got back from a very successful clean-up. The crew of about 30 volunteers managed to load up about 29,000 lbs of junk (one full large dumpster) as well as over 200 tires and a truckload of scrap metals. The area looks much better but will require one more clean-up to complete as about 100 tires remain as well as some more loads of junk and trash. Unfortunately there are several other dump sites along the road heading to the bottom of the plateau need similar levels of effort.
The boat halves did not yet get removed however
Thanks to all of the giving volunteers and the locals that pitched in to help out this worthy cause! Y'all rock!!
