Suwannee County has the springs

Staff

Suwannee County holds some of the greatest caves to dive in the world. The caves in Suwannee County are neither the largest or the deepest, but they are unique. What makes the caves here special are the springs located within them. Almost all of the diving caves have some kind of flow. Flowing water adds a challenge that divers come to experience and learn.

At the Luraville Store on CR 51, there is a map on the north wall depicting all the springs in the area. There is much information about North Florida cave diving on the web with details about each divable springs.

Check out www.floridacaves.com or www.cavediving.com for locations, maps and more information.
